The IDE Board |
The base address
of the IDE Board is fixed at AExxxx. It is essential
that no other add-in boards occupy the same address
space. Before proceeding remove all non-essential boards
or change the base address of any add-in
boards that conflict.
To use the IDE Board with a
Compact Flash Memory Card you will need an IDE to Compact
Flash
adapter. Connect the external adapter to the IDE socket and then
push the
Compact Flash Memory Card into the adapter.
To test the IDE Board
and Compact Flash combo follow the instructions below. |

Test
Method |
From the
TUTOR command prompt the following script was
run: |
|
OS |
INIT D: |
Y |
PIP
D:=A:*.*[V] |
|
|
The script above loads the CP/M-68K OS, prepares the
Compact Flash Card for use, and then copies a large
number of files to the CF Card under test - file copy verification is
enabled and used to
check ALL the files are written correctly. |
