inspiration for the computer system described here was
the homebrew RC2014 Z80 modular computer designed by
Spencer Owen.
This computer is a
similar design i.e. it has a backplane + plug in boards,
however it is based on a Motorola 68000 processor.
The 68000 was
first introduced in 1979 and was widely used in personal
computers including the Apple Macintosh, Commodore
Amiga, Atari ST, and many others. |
